Located on Austin Avenue in Coquitlam, BC, Yuen’s Family Martial Arts Centre, owned by Kelly Yuen, has been operating as a full time martial arts school since 1988. Our martial arts programs incorporate a unique combination of techniques and principles from a variety of martial arts styles including: Tae Kwon Do, Kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ), Arnis and other weapons, which give our students the opportunity to develop into a well balanced martial artist.

Yuen’s Family Martial Arts Centre offers a variety of Tae Kwan Do and other martial arts fitness programs that will fit the needs and you and your family. Childrens as young as 4 are taught in a fun, safe and positive environment that combines martial arts, character development and life skills that will give them a great start in life.

Yuen’s is a family orientated martial arts school with many Moms and Dads participating. They are getting in the best shape of their lives while having a great time learning valuable and practical self defense along side their families.

For 23 years our Coquitlam martial arts school has been building and developing character and everyday life skills with our students. We are committed to strengthening the mind, body and spirit of each individual. Ultimately our goal is to build greater unity in families, workplaces and the community we serve.
